Women in Ag meeting on specialty crop production, soils

PONTIAC, Ill. — The Livingston County Soil and Water Conservation District will host a Women in Ag meeting — Specialty Crop Production and Our Soils.

The meeting will be held on Thursday, Sept. 4, at the Livingston County Farm Bureau, 901 W. Howard St., Pontiac.

Registration and coffee will be at 8:30 a.m. with the meeting starting at 9 a.m. Lunch will be provided.

Engage with other women in a day of discussion and learning of conservation concepts, including specialty crop production and soils.

Attendees will hear from Nick Frillman, University of Illinois Extension, and from Livingston County SWCD staff.
