‘Soundtrack of Summer’: Indiana State Fair announces 2025 theme

INDIANAPOLIS— The theme of the 2025 Indiana State Fair is “The Soundtrack of Summer” presented by Get Prepared Indiana.

The fair will be held Aug. 1-17, closed on Mondays.

“The sounds of summer come alive like nowhere else at the great Indiana State Fair, connecting generations, sparking memories and bringing joy to everyone,” said Cindy Hoye, executive director of the Indiana State Fair.

“We are incredibly grateful to our partners with Get Prepared Indiana and can’t wait to welcome Hoosiers back to their fair in a few short months.”

A new experience this year is the Art of Music Exhibit, showcasing iconic album covers and their stories.

Guests can look at paintings of musicians from around the world and stop by a pop-up record store at the fair.

• The rides of the Midway.

• The sizzle of Fair food favorites.

• The salt-water taffy cranking out.

• The unwrapping of a grilled cheese sandwich from the Dairy Bar.

• The toe-tapping music in Pioneer Village.
