As a farmer, I can attest to the fact that it’s often difficult to find unbiased information that’s specific to my region. Luckily, the Illinois Soybean Association agronomy team has made that information immediately available, easily accessed and all right at your fingertips with the new Crop Report Tool found on ILSoyAdvisor.com.
This new resource was a collaboration between ISA, University of Illinois Extension and other industry experts who teamed up to enable growers to better manage their soybean, corn and wheat crops.
From field conditions to crop progress, disease alerts and pest sightings, the Online Crop Report feature provides farmers with facts and strategic analysis of relevant information that impacts their farms.
This online tool is just another example of a project funded by soybean checkoff dollars that provides a boots-on-the-ground approach to keep farmers up-to-date on the state of soil and crop growth across Illinois regions.
It’s also another example of a successfully coordinated effort to provide up-to-the-moment insights on pests, disease and weather in order to help farmers stay informed and overcome issues.
ILSoyAdvisor continues to be Illinois growers’ go-to source for expert agronomic and management advice for Illinois soybean production.
Funded by the Illinois Soybean Association checkoff program, ILSoyAdvisor provides the latest education, resources, webinars, success stories and now timely crop condition updates, so farmers can maximize their operations.
I encourage you to learn more at ILSoyAdvisor.com. Staying up-to-date on growing conditions, trends, threats and opportunities is not only key to remaining competitive in the global marketplace, it will help to ensure farm profitability for years to come.
