From the Fields: Every year brings its own challenges

We have received 1.4 inches of rain in the last 24 hours. We’ll see what we get going forward.

The last two years at this point, we were dry, but that dryness made the roots dig deeper in search of moisture. So, that was a good thing. We were nervous, but we ended up getting the rain right when we needed it both years.

Every year is different and every year brings its own challenges. So far, we are looking really good, but that can change.
