There were 5.6 days suitable for fieldwork during the week ending Nov. 13. Statewide, the average temperature was 47.5 degrees, 4.5 degrees above normal. Precipitation averaged 0.26 inches, 0.57 inches below normal. Topsoil moisture supply was rated 12% very short, 38% short, 49% adequate, and 1% surplus. Subsoil moisture supply was rated 17% very short, 40% short, 42% adequate, and 1% surplus. Corn harvested for grain reached 91%, compared to the five-year average of 84%. Soybeans harvested reached 96%, compared to the five-year average of 91%. Winter wheat emerged reached 77%, compared to the five-year average of 79%. Winter wheat condition was 2% very poor, 5% poor, 30% fair, 53% good, and 10% excellent.
