Precipitation averaged 0.26 inches, 0.57 inches below normal. Topsoil moisture supply was rated 12% very short, 38% short, 49% adequate, and 1% surplus. Subsoil moisture supply was rated 17% very short, 40% short, 42% adequate, and 1% surplus. Corn harvested for grain reached 91%, compared to the five-year average of 84%. Soybeans harvested reached 96%, compared to the five-year average of 91%. Winter wheat emerged reached 77%, compared to the five-year average of 79%. Winter wheat condition was 2% very poor, 5% poor, 30% fair, 53% good, and 10% excellent.
