Titan to feature Big Bud, Cole the Cornstar at Farm Progress 2021

Meet and greet opportunities, new products and FFA partnership are all reasons to visit

QUINCY, Ill. — Titan International Inc. announced it will be at the annual Farm Progress Show Aug. 31-Sept. 2 in Decatur.

Titan’s booth theme this year is “Go Big” — which will be apparent for attendees when they see Big Bud, the world’s largest tractor featuring the world’s largest farm tires made by Titan, as well as big names like Cole the Cornstar with his recently upgraded Case 340 Magnum.

Big Bud 747

A major draw for attendees will be Big Bud 747, the world’s largest 4WD tractor with the world’s largest farm tires. Big Bud 747 is a one-of-a kind, 1,100 horsepower tractor built in 1977 that is capable of farming three acres per minute. It’s 27 feet long, 25 feet wide and 14 feet tall.

Big Bud’s owners, Robert and Randy Williams, of Big Sandy, Montana, as well as Ron Harmon, the original designer of Big Bud, will be in the booth.

Attendees will have the opportunity to attend two scheduled talks with the Williams Brothers and Ron Harmon at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Aug. 31. They’ll provide history on Big Bud, followed by the opportunity for a meet and greet with attendees.

Cole The Cornstar

Titan will be hosting Cole the Cornstar, a popular YouTube influencer, at its booth. Cole and Titan recently partnered on a three-part video series to upgrade his Case 340 Magnum tractor with Titan Low Sidewall Technology Super Singles.

Cole, Daddy Cornstar and Coop will be in the booth with the Case tractor for a brief talk followed by a meet-and-greet session at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Sept. 1.

New Products

Titan will be showcasing a variety of new products, including the new HK 458, an industry-unique hybrid wheel loader tire suited for the most extreme loader applications.

The E-4/L-4 dual-rated bias tire combines the tread design of a forestry tire, a wheel loader tire and an ATV tire all in one — making it ideally suited for both muddy, challenging construction sites and agriculture applications, where the sludge and muck are endless.

In addition, Titan will have Titan AgraEDGE tires on display. Designed and manufactured in the United States, the Titan AgraEDGE is a new, cutting-edge, cost-competitive, full-line tire offering.

The radial R-1W tire line is available in 17 of the most popular front and rear row crop MFWD tractor sizes — with a range of additional sizes being introduced over the course of the next year for 4WD tractors, combines and grain carts.

FFA Partnership

At this year’s show, Titan is partnering with Illinois FFA and Indiana FFA to host various fundraising activities for the FFA chapters.

“Titan has been a long-standing supporter of FFA and the impact it has on students,” said Scott Sloan, ag product manager at Titan. “We are proud to support FFA through various fundraising activities at Farm Progress this year.”
