MINNEAPOLIS — Midwest Dairy announced it is now seeking students to apply for the Illinois division educational scholarship for the 2026-2027 academic school year.
High school, undergraduate and graduate students are invited to apply by March 1. Students can apply by visiting MidwestDairy.com.
Recipients of the Illinois division educational scholarship will receive $1,000 scholarships. The applicant must be considered or accepted as a full-time student at an accredited college.
The applicant or applicant’s parents, guardians, grandparents or sibling must own a dairy farm located in Illinois or they must be employed on a dairy farm located in the state.
It’s all part of the organization’s continued commitment to invest in creating dairy advocates, as well as developing the next generation of dairy leaders.
Last year, five young dairy leaders were awarded the Illinois division educational scholarship. These students are now enrolled at universities across the country, including Iowa State University, Lake Land College, University of Illinois and University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
