FREEPORT, Ill. — Sustainability and technology will be highlighted during the Illinois Milk Producers Association’s 2026 Dairy Summit, 10 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Feb. 4 at Highland Community College, 2998 W. Pearl City Road, Freeport.
Speakers will include Phil Cardoso, professor of animal sciences, University of Illinois; Derek Nolan, assistant professor and Extension dairy specialist, University of Illinois; and Damon Smith, professor of plant pathology, University of Wisconsin.
Attendees also will hear an update from the Illinois Department of Public Health on regulatory issues.
