Meet the Featured Farmer lineup

INDIANAPOLIS — Hoosier farmers will be honored at the Indiana State Fair as part of the 2026 Featured Farmers program hosted by the fair and Corteva.

The Featured Farmers program recognizes 15 farm families from across Indiana, representing a variety of crops and livestock.

Throughout the 15-day event, Aug. 7-23, with the fair closed on Mondays, each farm family will be highlighted and will share their story with visitors.

“The Indiana State Fair exists to celebrate Indiana agriculture and the people who make it possible,” said Ray Allison, executive director of the Indiana State Fair Commission.

“Our Featured Farmers program allows guests to connect directly with Hoosier farm families and learn more about the dedication it takes to grow the food we rely on every day. We are proud to continue this tradition and grateful for Corteva’s partnership in helping tell these stories.”

Fairgoers can attend a daily live chat in the Glass Barn with the Featured Farmer of the day.

Guests will also have opportunities throughout the fair to meet the farm families, learn about their operations and ask questions about the work they do.

“Indiana would not be what it is today without the strong legacy of farm families who help care for the land, put food on our tables and support our local economy,” said Audrey Grimm, chief people officer at Corteva.

“We’re so proud to support the Featured Farmers program to help shine a light on the many contributions of farmers to our local communities and way of life.”

• Aug. 7: Maplewood Farms LLC, Union County — maple syrup, timber, maple sugar, maple craft soda and maple gifts.

• Aug. 8: Greer Farms, Gibson County — soybeans, produce and watermelons.

• Aug. 9: Fischer Farms, Dubois County — beef, pork and poultry.

• Aug. 11: Chism Family Farm, Howard County — corn, soybeans and sweet corn.

• Aug. 12: Hasting Plants, Posey County — annual and perennial flowers and plants.

• Aug. 13: Schoettmer Prime Pork Farm, Tipton County — pork.

• Aug. 14: P.E. Brocksmith and Son Farm, Knox County — corn and soybeans.

• Aug. 15: Sennett Cattle, Montgomery County — beef, corn and soybeans.

• Aug. 16: Promise Keeper Farms, Noble County — lavender and lavender products.

• Aug. 18: The Seedlings Flower Farm, Monroe County — flower farm, u-pick and flower truck.

• Aug. 19: Yellow Tree Farm LLC, Rush County — custom pork, pumpkins and drone spraying.

• Aug. 20: Stuckwish Family Farms, Jackson County — watermelon, cantaloupe, tomatoes, sweet corn, peppers, pumpkins, gourds and flowers.

• Aug. 21: Dague Dairy Farm, Fulton County — dairy.

• Aug. 22: Morning Harvest Produce, Washington County — lettuce, leafy greens, herbs and salad kits.

• Aug. 23: Ault Farms Inc., Fulton County — row crops and beef.
