Christmas Nights of Lights returns

The Christmas Nights of Lights show features more than a million LED lights synchronized to classic holiday music.

INDIANAPOLIS — Christmas Nights of Lights, a drive-through light show at the Indiana State Fairgrounds and Event Center, is returning through Dec. 31 this year.

The display features more than a million LED lights synchronized to classic holiday music.

“This event continues to be a favorite for families across Indiana,” said LeRoy Lewis III, fair spokesperson. “We’re excited to add new elements this year that make the show even more memorable.”

New this year are three giant Christmas trees, featuring thousands of color-changing lights.

Other highlights include:

• The 180-foot-long Cosmic Wall of Lights.

• Life-sized Nativity and Candyland scenes.

• A patriotic giant American flag display.

The event is held rain or shine from 6 to 10 p.m. each evening, with extended hours on the weekend.

Online reservations are required and can be modified up to five days in advance. The cost is $38 per car with up to eight passengers, $58.50 for nine to 15 passengers and $84 for 16 or more passengers.

Safety measures:

• Attendees must remain in their vehicles and turn off headlights upon entering the show.

• Portable toilets are available at the entrance and exit.

• Pets are welcome as long as they remain inside the vehicle.
