FRANKLIN, Ind. — Franklin Farmers Market was voted winner of the fourth annual Indiana’s Ultimate Farmers Market Challenge.
The market in central Indiana runs from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturdays from May through September. It includes more than 90 vendors, live music and monthly themed days.
“Congratulations to the Franklin Farmers Market for winning the Indiana Grown Farmers Market Challenge for the second year in a row,” said Caroline Patrick, director of Indiana Grown.
“We know how important farmers markets are to communities across the state, and we’re proud to recognize their impact each year through this challenge.”
Franklin Farmers Market received more than 2,800 votes during the two-week voting period.
The Westfield Farmers Market came in second, and Farmers Market at Winona Lake came in third.
