INDIANAPOLIS — The second annual Farm to Capitol event was held in downtown Indianapolis, celebrating the state’s rich agricultural heritage.
Hosted by Indiana’s Family of Farmers, Farm to Capitol serves as a bridge between the policymakers who shape Indiana’s future and the Hoosier farmers who feed the state.
Event highlights on May 7 included live animals, farmers market vendors, food trucks and interactive games with ag trivia.
Agriculture groups such as Indiana Farm Bureau showcased the industry that feeds, clothes and fuels Indiana.
