INDIANAPOLIS — Fairgoers shopped local and supported farmers at the Indiana Grown Marketplace at the Indiana State Fair.
More than 500 products from 110 Hoosier businesses were on-site in the Mercantile building.
“The increase in the amount of products at the Indiana Grown Marketplace over the years speaks to the dedication of Hoosier producers and the growth that this industry has seen in our state,” said Don Lamb, director of the Indiana State Department of Agriculture.
Indiana Grown products included bison jerky, popcorn, milk, cheese, barbecue sauce, spice blends, body care, candles, fiber products and more.
To be part of Indiana Grown, products must be grown, processed, packaged or produced in Indiana.
Even though the fair is over, Hoosiers can shop Indiana Grown year-round. Find local businesses you can support at indianagrown.org.
