From the Fields: A new brew

I do a lot of research when coming up with new beers. Today we’re brewing our very first sour beer, which is going to be made with some locally sourced rhubarb. I’ve spent the past two years doing research, reading books.

So, instead of doing a bunch of iterations that may not be what I want, I try to do as much research and planning so that the first time I make it, it’s as close to what I want, and we’ll make small tweaks from there.

Our differentiator besides the actual ingredients is we do fun, newer styles of beer, but also more traditional styles by using local ingredients.
