From the Fields: Hope for a good harvest

Harvest is right around the corner, if not already here for some. Tomato harvest has started, as well as seed corn harvest, both having their own unique way of harvest. Lots of farmers are also gearing up for harvest by getting their combines ready, making sure everything is in working order and ready to roll. We can all imagine what it must be like to finally get started and have something break down. It’s never a good feeling.

I hope every farmer out there has a plentiful and safe harvest. I hope everyone on the road respects the equipment and remember that those driving it are someone’s family. I hope the ground and soil is good to you and your crop and that prices are where they should be. It’s that time of year when all the hard work starts to pay off and you remember why you do it all. Happy harvest. Stay safe.
