Greater Peoria Farm Show canceled due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions in Illinois

PEORIA, Ill. — The Greater Peoria Farm Show, scheduled for March 9-11, is canceled due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions in Illinois.

The event had been rescheduled to March from its previously planned dates in December. However, due to ongoing restrictions, the Peoria Civic Center does not expect to be able to host events of more than 50 people through the spring of 2021.

“We are disappointed to be canceling the show. However, we are actively shifting our focus towards the next Greater Peoria Farm Show, scheduled for Nov. 30 through Dec. 2,” said John Riles, president of Midwest Shows. “This show will provide a great opportunity to celebrate the return to a more normal routine with the area’s agricultural community. We are looking forward to a great show.”

The Greater Peoria Farm Show features more than 300 exhibitors with the latest in agricultural equipment and services, along with educational seminars. The event is held annually in late November or early December at the Peoria Civic Center in Peoria.
