Patriotic ketchup hits shelves

Folds of Honor-branded product gives back to military families

ELWOOD, Ind. — A new bottle of Red Gold ketchup will hit grocery shelves and military commissaries across the country this summer.

Red Gold joined forces with the Folds of Honor Foundation to support the nonprofit’s mission of providing scholarships to family members of those fallen or disabled while serving our nation.

This partnership is designed to both honor and protect the legacy of these military heroes by ensuring the educational future of their loved ones.

“Red Gold was founded in 1942 in an effort to feed U.S. troops during World War II,” said Colt Reichart, director of marketing and fourth-generation owner at Red Gold.

“Since then, giving back to those in need is a foundational element of our family history at Red Gold.

“The Folds of Honor mission is a natural fit for us. For more than 75 years, our family has been proud to work with more than 40 Midwestern growers to produce quality tomato products that are American owned, grown and made to serve families all over the country.”

Red Gold’s Folds of Honor Ketchup can be purchased at Costco, Kroger, Meijer, Walmart, Winn-Dixie and other retailers.
