FFA Corner: FFA members celebrate with chapter banquets

The future is bright as the banquet season concludes and the new leadership of chapters and sections are elected, as well as members are recognized for their outstanding contributions to their personal growth community and agriculture.

Chapter and section banquets highlight the accomplishments of their members in the past year and serve as a conclusion to members’ year, seniors’ FFA career and even the retirement of our beloved agriculture teachers.

This year, the Illinois FFA State Officer Team was able to attend 27 chapter and section banquets, witness the greatness these chapters have accomplished and share brief remarks about the excitement of the future.

As our officer team is excited for our membership future, they are also excited to be in full-blown convention planning mode. One of the things the state officer team has been able to check off their list for convention is their retiring addresses.

This year, the officers’ retiring addresses were filmed and will be released before convention for viewing on our YouTube Channel ILAgEd.

We look forward to continuing to celebrate with our membership across Illinois.
