AMES, Iowa — Farmers can optimize their fungicide return on investment using a new Fungicide Timing Tool from Pioneer.

Trenton Brisby, agronomy innovation marketing manager, discussed fungicides during a Forward Thinking Farmer webinar hosted by Corteva Agriscience.

“Each season growers face significant uncertainty when managing their foliar diseases,” he said. “Weather variability, shifting environmental conditions and disease pressure — they change rapidly.”

“The newest component is the Fungicide Timing Tool, which uses advanced AI machine learning to help us know when and where to spray that fungicide.

“The final component of this is Corteva’s newest fungicide, Forcivo, which is a three modes of action fungicide.”
