Livingston SWCD annual meeting Jan. 15

Join the Livingston County Soil and Water Conservation District for a Toolshed Talk to learn about how conservation practices can be beneficial for the farm. Hear how other local farmers are making conservation work for them.

PONTIAC, Ill. — The Livingston County Soil and Water Conservation District will hold its 81st annual meeting from 8 to 10 a.m. Jan. 15 at Pontiac Elks Club, 459 Elks Club Road.

A breakfast buffet will be available at 8 a.m., followed by a brief business meeting, election of three directors and a guest speaker.

Tickets for the breakfast are $15 and may be obtained through the SWCD office. There will be no ticket sales at the door, so be sure to reserve tickets by Jan. 7.
