From the Fields: Replacing tile drains in field

We’re installing a new 8-inch tile main to improve the family farm. We’re replacing the tile that was put in 100 years ago that’s starting to fail. We have pretty good conditions. It hasn’t been muddy, which is great for tiling.

Our semis have been rolling, moving grain for the elevators and for ourselves as we saw a little bump in the grain markets. We wrapped up harvest Oct. 17.
