From the Fields: Hurry up and wait

Hurry up and wait are the only two constants so far this season. We seem to be in a hurry only to wait on Mother Nature’s timing.

Because of all the rain we have experienced in southeastern Indiana, we are only 30% complete with our bean acres and haven’t gotten any corn in the ground yet.

For every well laid daily game plan we create, the weather quickly changes that plan. It seems we are constantly pivoting to Plan B. Fingers crossed, this coming week looks promising and hopefully dry.
