Subsoil moisture supply was rated 7% very short, 25% short, 66% adequate and 2% surplus. Corn dough reached 90%, compared to the five-year average of 97%. Corn dented reached 70%, compared to the five-year average of 84%. Corn mature reached 16%, compared to the five-year average of 36%. Corn harvested for grain reached 1%, compared to the five-year average of 2%. Corn condition was rated 4% very poor, 5% poor, 19% fair, 48% good, and 24% excellent. Soybeans setting pods reached 91%, compared to the five-year average of 97%. Soybeans dropping leaves reached 15%, compared to the five-year average of 20%. Soybean condition was rated 5% very poor, 5% poor, 23% fair, 48% good, and 19% excellent. Alfalfa hay third cutting reached 79%, compared to the five-year average of 94%.
