LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The National Farm Machinery Show will be held Feb. 11-14 at the Kentucky Exposition Center, 937 Phillips Lane, Louisville.
“Over the last six decades, millions of attendees have explored the ever-growing acreage at the Kentucky Exposition Center, to experience the latest farming technology, new-to-market equipment, and groundbreaking ideas in climate-controlled comfort,” said David Beck, president and CEO of Kentucky Venues.
“From its start in 1966, when the show featured 86 exhibitors and displays such as a self-propelled forage harvester, the National Farm Machinery Show has continued to evolve alongside the industry it serves.”
At the free trade show, visitors can learn about drones, artificial intelligence and other technologies advancing the ag industry. Educational seminars are available to help farmers prepare for 2026 and beyond.
Lexie Ratterman, Kentucky Venues spokesperson, shared the latest about NFMS with AgriNews.
Q: What’s new at this year’s NFMS?
A: Hundreds of exhibitors arrive at the show ready to showcase their newest equipment and technology, including companies like Boyd CAT and New Holland who will be among those displaying new farm equipment.
Outside of our exhibitors, Kentucky Venues is excited to be celebrating the 60th anniversary of the National Farm Machinery Show while introducing our official merchandise that will be sold on-site and online.
Beyond the excitement inside our exhibit halls, guests will notice the largest expansion and renovation in the Kentucky Exposition Center’s history taking shape on the northwest side of the property. By this time next year, our National Farm Machinery Show attendees will be among the first to experience the expanded show footprint in the new building.
Additionally, many of our Championship Tractor Pull fans will be the first to experience new seats in the lower sections of historic Freedom Hall.
Q: What are a few traditions people enjoy at the show?
A: Hearing the roar of an engine echo in historic Freedom Hall at the Championship Tractor Pull sponsored by Farm Credit Mid-America is one of our attendees’ favorite traditions. Along with that, seeing their favorite ag brand on the show floor and climbing up in the cab of a brand-new tractor brings many of our visitors who have visited for decades a sweet sense of nostalgia.
Q: How can attendees make the most of their experience?
A: We recommend our attendees plan ahead to make the most of their experience. With 1.2 million square feet of sold-out exhibition space and nearly 800 exhibitors to browse, it will take some time and comfortable shoes. We have a full exhibitor list and show map on our website, so we recommend if an attendee has a can’t-miss brand in mind, checking that list first and planning their visit around making a stop at that particular booth. Recognizing that Friday and Saturday are our busiest days, we recommend arriving early to hit all the top spots on their list.
Pencil in time to experience some of our free daily seminars with industry experts offering insight to help farmers prepare for the year ahead.
Q: Anything else you’d like to mention?
A: The Gift and Craft Market (second floor of South Wing) is a great spot for attendees to spend some time and browse 50 vendors selling clothes, shoes, toys, souvenirs and more.
The Championship Tractor Pull sponsored by Farm Credit Mid-America features 200 of the sport’s best drivers, who will descend on Louisville for five unforgettable sessions of competition, each one pushing horsepower and precision to the limit.
