MINNEAPOLIS — The Illinois Division of Midwest Dairy announced that five Illinois students will receive a $1,000 scholarship to support their education at an accredited college or university this fall.
Scholarship recipients were selected by a review committee based on their involvement in the dairy industry, leadership, career plans and academic standing.
The recipients of the Midwest Dairy Illinois Division Scholarships are:
• Cassandra Bohnert, East Moline, is enrolled at Iowa State University and is pursuing her degree in dairy science.

• Alaina Dinderman, Orangeville, is enrolled at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and is pursuing her degree in dairy science.

• Nevin Erbsen, Lanark, is enrolled at Iowa State and is pursuing his degree in agricultural systems technology.

• Ellie Hildebrandt, South Beloit, is enrolled at the UW-Platteville and is pursuing her degree in agriculture education.

• Shayden Hogg, Highland, is enrolled at Murray State University and is pursuing her degree in animal science.
