Ice cream for a cause: Over $7,000 raised for nonprofit

INDIANAPOLIS — Over $7,000 was raised for Indiana Sports Corp through American Dairy Association Indiana’s annual Ice Cream Social.

More than 1,000 Kroger ice cream sundaes were scooped and topped with Prairie Farms whipped cream and Girl Scouts cookie crumbles.

Indiana Sports Corp is a not-for-profit organization that was founded in 1979. Its mission is to create positive impact by hosting world-class sporting events which drive economic vitality, facilitate a vibrant community with civic pride, garner national and international media attention, and create opportunities for youth.
