MADISON, Wis. — World Dairy Expo announced the eight official judges selected to evaluate North America’s finest dairy cattle on the colored shavings during World Dairy Expo 2023.
These individuals were nominated and voted on by 2022 Dairy Cattle Show Exhibitors and include both first-time and long-time World Dairy Expo judges.
The group of official judges for the 56th World Dairy Expo is as follows:
• International Ayrshire Show — Kurt Wolf, Guttenberg, Iowa.
• International Brown Swiss Show — Chris Lahmers, Marysville, Ohio.
• International Guernsey Show — Kevin Hartmann, Mulberry Grove, Illinois.
• International Holstein Show — Lynn Harbaugh, Marion, Wisconsin.
• International Junior Holstein Show — Callum McKinven, Canton de Hatley, Quebec, Canada.
• International Jersey Show — Mike Duckett, Rudolph, Wisconsin.
• International Milking Shorthorn Show — Brandon Ferry, Hilbert, Wisconsin.
• International Red & White Show — Phillip Topp, Botkins, Ohio.
Serving as the meeting place of the global dairy industry, World Dairy Expo brings together the latest in dairy innovation and the best cattle in North America.
The global dairy industry will return to Madison for the 56th event Oct. 1-6, when the world’s largest dairy-focused trade show, dairy and forage seminars, a world-class dairy cattle show and more will be on display.
