4-H scholarship winners announced

Anneke Donker of Vigo County won a scholarship sponsored by the Allen and Sherer families in memory of Janet Allen. In partnership with the Indiana 4-H Foundation, the Indiana 4-H Youth Development Program annually awards more than $100,000 in scholarships to 4-H members to pursue post-secondary education.

INDIANAPOLIS — In 2025, the Indiana 4-H Foundation awarded 44 Accomplishment Scholarships to 4-H members who have excelled in specific project areas.

The scholarship committee selected scholarship recipients through a competitive application process that began with written applications, résumé and life skill reflection essays submitted by applicants last winter.

4-H Accomplishment Scholarships are available to 4-H members in grade 10-12 and the year immediately following high school graduation. Selection is based on the member’s life skill development resulting from their 4-H participation. Awards range from $1,000 to $2,000.
