WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — After a rigorous interview and selection process, seven students were named Indiana FFA state officers.
• President: Kaitlyn Maruszewski, Tri-Central.
• Secretary: Lauren Argotte, Lebanon.
• Northern Region Vice President: Erianna Vela, Prairie Heights.
• Southern Region Vice President: Calvin Myers, Bloomfield.
• Treasurer: Lily Sloan, Jennings County.
• Reporter: Jenna Lawler, Rushville.
• Sentinel: Jesus Santana, North Miami.
The officers were sworn in at the Indiana FFA State Convention on June 19.
The team will oversee the development of Indiana FFA chapters and provide direction during events and contests. They will visit the chapters, host career and leadership development events, and execute leadership conferences.
“The Indiana FFA team is incredibly proud of these candidates and all the hard work they have contributed to this process,” said Tami Ketchen, Indiana FFA director. “Each individual should be proud and is deserving of this accomplishment.”
