KENTLAND, Ind. — The 106th annual Newton County Pun’kin Vine Fair is scheduled to take place July 7-12 at the Newton County Fairgrounds in Kentland.
The fair will feature a variety of attractions, including:
• 4-H competitions showcasing local youth projects and livestock.
• Carnival rides provided by The Carnival Company LLC.
• Special events such as the D&D Pro Rodeo Company Rodeo on July 8.
• Little Miss & Mister Pageant for children ages 5 to 7.
• Food vendors serving classic fair treats.
4-H Schedule
The 4-H events will commence with project entries on Wednesday, July 2, followed by various judging events and shows throughout the week, including:
• Dog Obedience and Agility Show — Sunday, July 6.
• Livestock shows — including sheep, goats, rabbits, swine, poultry and beef.
• Horse and pony shows — multiple events throughout the week.
• 4-H Night at the Fair — awards and recognition on Wednesday, July 9.
• Livestock Auction — Friday, July 11.
• Supreme Showmanship and Pie in the Face Contest — Saturday, July 12.
