LAPORTE, Ind. — The LaPorte County Fair, Indiana’s oldest county fair, is set to return for its 179th year July 5-12 at the LaPorte County Fairgrounds.
This beloved summer tradition offers a week filled with family friendly activities, including 4-H exhibits, livestock shows, home arts displays and Pioneerland — a living history village that brings the past to life.
Concert Highlights
The fair’s grandstand will host a series of concerts, with country artist Warren Zeiders performing at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 10.
Carnival Midway
The Skerbeck Entertainment Group’s Carnival Midway will operate July 7-12, opening with a preview night at 5 p.m. on Monday.
Unlimited ride wristbands are available for $35. Individual ride tickets are also for sale.
Daily Events
Each day of the fair features a variety of events, including livestock competitions, 4-H showcases and special themed days like Senior Day and Veterans Day.
Also featured this year is a Birds of Prey demonstration, Queen City Stunt Circus, a roaming robot that interacts with guests and a monster truck show.
