Lake County Fair returns to Crown Point for 95th year of family fun

CROWN POINT, Ind. — The Lake County Fair is set to make a grand return Aug. 1-10, celebrating its 95th year of bringing community, agriculture and entertainment together at the Lake County Fairgrounds in Crown Point.

Known as one of Indiana’s largest county fairs, the event promises a blend of traditional charm and modern excitement.

The fair will kick off with a Russell Dickerson and Niko Moon concert on July 31, including opening act Shaylen.

Other concerts include bluegrass gospel music from Rusty Nail Crossing Aug. 1-8 and Eric Lambert and The Lovely Char Duo on Aug. 2.

Attendees can also look forward to a bustling midway filled with carnival rides and games, motorsports events and more.

The fair also showcases Lake County’s agricultural heritage with livestock exhibitions, 4-H competitions and other educational experiences for all ages.

Local artisans and crafters will display their talents, and numerous food vendors will serve up classic fair treats like funnel cakes and corn dogs.
