Winter solstice

We get the AgriNews newspaper every week and I took this picture of the sunrise on Christmas Eve morning. I have shared it with several people — and many of them have said it’s one of the most beautiful sunrises they have ever seen, and I agree. I think God is an amazing artist. We live in the northern part of Illinois, just east of the town of Winnebago. I feel so fortunate to be able to live in a place where the view is not obstructed by tall buildings and lots of houses so that I can have the opportunity to photograph the sunrise. I hope you have a very happy New Year.
