There were 3.5 days suitable for fieldwork in the week ending June 22, according to the National Agricultural Statistics Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Topsoil moisture supply was rated 3% very short, 9% short, 63% adequate, and 25% surplus. Subsoil moisture supply was rated 4% very short, 12% short, 63% adequate, and 21% surplus.

Corn emerged reached 94%, compared to 97% last year, and the five-year average of 98%. Corn condition was rated 3% very poor, 7% poor, 27% fair, 54% good, and 9% excellent.

Soybeans planted reached 95%, compared to 98% last year, and the five-year average of 99%. Soybeans emerged reached 90%, compared to 94% last year, and the five-year average of 94%. Soybeans blooming reached 2%, compared to 3% last year, and the five-year average of 2%. Soybeans condition was rated 3% very poor, 6% poor, 28% fair, 55% good, and 8% excellent.

Winter wheat headed reached 95%, compared to 100% last year, and the five-year average of 100%. Winter wheat harvested reached 2%, compared to 35% last year, and the five-year average of 20%. Winter wheat condition was rated 2% very poor, 4% poor, 26% fair, 57% good, and 11% excellent.
