There were 4.9 days suitable for fieldwork in the week ending June 22, according to the National Agricultural Statistics Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Topsoil moisture supply was rated 3% very short, 19% short, 63% adequate, and 15% surplus. Subsoil moisture supply was rated 4% very short, 23% short, 58% adequate, and 15% surplus.

Corn emerged reached 95%, compared to 96% last year, and the five-year average of 97%. Corn silking reached 1%, compared to 1% last year. Corn condition was rated 3% very poor, 5% poor, 18% fair, 57% good, and 17% excellent.

Soybeans planted reached 95%, compared to 96% last year, and the five-year average of 97%. Soybeans emerged reached 90%, compared to 89% last year, and the five-year average of 93%. Soybeans blooming reached 2%, compared to 3% last year, and the five-year average of 2%. Soybeans condition was rated 4% very poor, 7% poor, 28% fair, 46% good, and 15% excellent.

Winter wheat headed reached 100%, compared to 100% last year, and the five-year average of 100%. Winter wheat harvested reached 17%, compared to 69% last year, and the five-year average of 40%. Winter wheat condition was rated 10% very poor, 6% poor, 23% fair, 48% good, and 13% excellent.
