Soybeans planted reached 75%, compared to 70% last year, and the five-year average of 75%. Soybeans emerged reached 58%, compared to 42% last year, and the five-year average of 50%. Soybeans condition was rated 1% very poor, 4% poor, 33% fair, 53% good, and 9% excellent.

Winter wheat headed reached 72%, compared to 93% last year, and the five-year average of 87%. Winter wheat condition was rated 1% very poor, 4% poor, 33% fair, 51% good, and 11% excellent.
