Topsoil moisture supply was rated 6% very short, 23% short, 66% adequate, and 5% surplus. Subsoil moisture supply was rated 14% very short, 30% short, 53% adequate, and 3% surplus.
Corn harvested reached 68%, compared to the five-year average of 76%. Soybeans harvested reached 87%, compared to the five-year average of 85%. Winter wheat planted reached 84%, compared to the five-year average of 88%. Winter wheat emerged reached 61%, compared to the five-year average of 67%. Winter wheat condition was rated 2% very poor, 4% poor, 21% fair, 58% good, and 15% excellent.
