When it comes to pollination, honeybees get the majority of the attention. However, many insects play a role in pollination. A free webinar at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 27 will discuss different native pollinators, including beetles and flies, and tips on how to make your landscape attractive to them, including providing habitat.

Lee County 4-H Fall Fest
AMBOY, Ill. — The Lee County 4-H and Federation will present the 2021 Fall Fest from 3 to 5 p.m. Oct. 30 at the Lee County 4-H Center, 1196 Franklin Road, Amboy. The event will include a costume contest, pumpkin hunt and carnival games. There will be hot dogs, popcorn, and treats for everyone. The event is free and open to the public of all ages.
