Jumping worms prevention, indentification
BLOOMINGTON, Ill. — A discussion on jumping worms prevention and identification with University of Illinois Extension Horticulture Educator Kelly Allsup will be from 3 to 4 p.m. Aug. 31 at the McLean County Extension office, 1615 Commerce Pkwy., Bloomington.
“Non-native invasive species are one of the biggest environmental threats, second only to habitat loss,” Allsup said. “Once invasive species have a foothold, it can be hard to remove them, so prevention and early detection and response is key.”

HILLSBORO, Ill. — Join Andrew Holsinger, University of Illinois Extension horticulture educator,for a class about plant propagation from 10 a.m. to noon Sept. 7 at the Montgomery County Extension office, #1 Industrial Park Drive, Hillsboro.
