NOKOMIS, Ill. — Aumann Auctions and Cory Craig Auctioneer, two firms representing 125 combined years of experience in the auction industry, announced the merger and partnership of their two companies.
This partnership brings together two companies with deep roots, shared values and a longstanding commitment to professionalism, integrity and results, said Tyson Reed, Aumann Auctions marketing director.
“Cory Craig has built an outstanding local reputation through hard work, honesty and strong relationships,” he said. “We’re honored to partner with them and provide additional resources, marketing reach and operational support that will benefit both buyers and sellers.”
Cory Craig Auctioneer will join the Aumann Auctions organization while maintaining its trusted local identity and operating under its name, ensuring continuity for clients while creating new opportunities through expanded resources and reach.
“This partnership is about building on what already works,” Cory Craig said. “We’ve proudly served this community since 1965, and partnering with Aumann Auctions allows us to continue that tradition while positioning our clients for even greater success. We’re excited about the new technology and services we can provide.”
As the company begins a thoughtful, multiyear transition into the Aumann Auctions family, clients will continue working with the same familiar faces and local expertise they know — now supported by the added reach, resources and strength of Aumann Auctions.
“We’ve worked so hard for so many years building our business,” Julie Craig said. “This gives Cory a chance to do what he does best and that is helping his clients through life’s transitions. Partnering with Aumann takes a big day-to-day load off of our shoulders.”
The combined teams will focus on strengthening service offerings, expanding marketing reach and maintaining the personal relationships that have long been central to both companies’ success, said Kurt Aumann, Aumann Auctions CEO and president.
“We’ve always admired Cory’s company over the years, and this was a logical partnership for us both. Our staff is deep in operational backend expertise, and they will all be there to support Cory’s operations,” he said. “We’re really excited about the new opportunities this brings to all of us.”
“It’s been a really enjoyable time working with Cory to make this possible. We have similar goals and values which centers around what we can do for our clients and customers,” added Alex Fuselier, Aumann Auctions Antique Tractor Division project manager. “We want to be the best and so does Cory. This is going to be great for our sellers and buyers.”
