INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana Barn Foundation welcomed a new executive director, Christine Page.
Page brings 16 years of nonprofit leadership experience and a passion for historic preservation.
In her new role, she aims to grow awareness, expand membership and support barn owners through grants, education and partnerships across the state — ensuring these rural treasures continue to inspire, educate and connect Indiana communities.
Work History
Prior to joining the Indiana Barn Foundation, Page served as executive director of the historic St. Petersburg Shuffleboard Club in Florida, where she led a dramatic revitalization of the 1924 landmark.
Under her leadership, membership expanded from 125 to over 2,700 and the club became a nationally recognized success story.
She oversaw the restoration of the 1927 clubhouse, launched major events including world championships and fostered key partnerships with city officials, preservationists and community organizations.
Her leadership has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Preservation Legacy Award from Preserve the ‘Burg and the City of St. Petersburg’s Distinguished Citizen Award.
Page enjoys art, architecture and traveling. It is a personal goal of hers to photograph every round barn in Indiana; she’s visited approximately 35 of them.
