From the Fields: Regular rains

We’ve been getting pretty regular rains that are frequent enough that I can’t keep track. I think the corn is made.

The beans could always use one more shower, but if it didn’t rain again, I’m not too worried about it. I would take another shower or two for the beans.

I’ve seen pictures on social media of poorly pollinated corn and aborted kernels. I won’t know about that until I go out and peel the husks back or I’m combining and the corn is not coming in the combine. Our yield checks will start this week.
