Fendt 700 Gen6 series tractors equipped with new operator station

DULUTH, Ga. — The Fendt 700 Gen6 series tractors are equipped with a newly designed operator station.

“The Fendt 700 Gen6 Series tractors provide customizable, user operating interface like none other in the marketplace today with our FendtONE operating system,” said Bob Crain, senior vice president and general manager for AGCO North America.

“This is a tractor that a customer can spend 10 minutes in and say this is excellent,” Crain said.

“The 700 Gen6 tractors can be used year around in a variety of applications,” said Andrew Sunderman, Fendt tactical marketing manager for high horsepower tractors. “When you step into the cab, you’ll realize this is a whole different experience.”

FendtONE allows for easy oversight of machine operation with a 10-inch customizable dash panel, a 12-inch touch screen terminal with the option of an additional 12-inch touch screen terminal.

“The new multifunction armrest allows operators to customize control layout insuring the machine is operated in the way they find is the easiest and most efficient,” Sunderman said.

“The 10-inch digital dashboard mounted to the steering column showcases critical tractor information such as speed, operational warnings and operational data,” said Daniel Smith, Fendt product marketing specialist for high horsepower tractors.

“The 12-inch color, touch screen allows you to visualize all setup and vital operating data, hydraulics, hitch control and lighting controls,” Smith said. “To view more information an optional 12-inch display can be added and it can be retracted into the roof showing just the bottom half of the screen to allow for increased visibility.”

A setup menu allows the user to navigate to screens with a minimal number of button clicks.

“Navigating the multiple displays is even more efficient with the use of the push style control on the right side of the armrest,” Smith said. “This push style will allow users to control buttons within the screen, as well as adjust the settings even while moving through bumpy fields.”

The ergonomically-designed shape of the joystick provides operator controls at a fingers reach.

“This increases operator comfort and productivity by decreasing operator strain,” Smith said. “It can perform a number of functions and has four assignable functions to customize the user experience.”

The six models of the 700 Gen6 tractor can be optionally equipped with a 5X Series Cargo loader.

“It has a three valve functionality that allows operators to hydraulically control implement attachments such as a grapple bucket,” Smith said.

“The Cargo loader system allows customers to go from loader work to tillage work to row crop application to hay and forage work to front three-point hitch applications,” Sunderman said.

The Fendt 700 Gen6 tractors are available to order now and deliveries to dealers will begin in December.
