The board of directors of the I & I Antique Tractor and Gas Engine Club canceled the 2020 Historic Farm Days show because of the coronavirus outbreak. Our No. 1 priority is the health and safety of our members, volunteers, vendors and guests attending the show.
We would also run into problems with the Illinois five-phase reopening plan. The earliest date you are allowed to have over 50 people at an event falls after our show dates.
We will miss seeing everyone at the show this year, but look forward to seeing you in 2021. We are doing a double-feature in 2021 with Massey and Minneapolis Moline/B.F.Avery. We didn’t want to skip over our MM/B.F.Avery collectors.
The G1000 raffle tractor is being given away as originally planned at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 12.
Have a safe summer and hope to see you in 2021 at Historic Farm Days and Half Century of Progress.
Chuck Stelter is the president of the I & I Antique Tractor and Gas Engine Club.
