Valetines for veterans

The Corn Belt Kids 4-H Club handed out 40 handmade valentine cards to veterans Feb. 24 at the La Salle County Illinois Veterans Home in La Salle.

Following visit with the veterans, the club held their meeting. Talks/demonstrations were given by Grace Turner, how to make slime; Madilyn Soulsby, tips on knitting; Charleigh Yedinak, string art; Mia Gross, how to play the harp; and Fischer Warfield, Legos.
