NEW VIENNA, Iowa (AP) — A grain barn in eastern Iowa was destroyed in an early-morning fire.
Firefighters were called to the blaze around 3:20 a.m. Nov. 16 in Dubuque County, television station KCRG reported. Arriving firefighters found the barn completely engulfed in flames, officials said.
Crews were able to extinguish the fire, but said the barn is a total loss. A house and a vehicle on the property also sustained heat damage during the fire, officials said.
The fire caused about $25,000 in damage, officials estimated. No injuries were reported.
