Quinlan: COVID-19 cases on the rise

A wave of new coronavirus cases has hit Indiana. The number of people I know who have contracted it grows daily, making me worried for my grandparents and members of my family with health conditions.

I worry not only for those who may get sick, but for those whose lives, businesses and education are impacted by the virus.

This winter I expect there will be a lot of virtual meetings, webinars and online events, and I’m OK with that. It’s better to be safe at home when possible.

I’m glad that, when it comes to things I can’t control, I rely on my faith to get me through. When it comes to things I can control, I’m going to do my best to keep my children and loved ones safe.
