DANVILLE, Ind. — AgrIInstitute is seeking applications for their next Indiana Agricultural Leadership Program.

Applications are due Jan. 17.

AgrIInstitute selects up to 30 individuals to participate in the two-year program. Each class is selected to represent the diversity of agriculture and rural community sectors.

“We are seeking individuals who will step forward to lead agriculture and rural communities for today and tomorrow,” said Beth Archer, executive director of the program. “We are seeking individuals who want to advance their skills and expertise in leadership.”

In a nutshell, the program is seeking people who are ready to be “difference makers” in the agriculture industry.

The program includes 10 study seminars in Indiana and two abroad — a week in Washington, D.C., and two weeks internationally.

Students will learn about agriculture, public policy, civic engagement and leadership.
