FAIR OAKS, Ind. — For those wanting an escape to Indiana’s countryside, a new hotel at Fair Oaks Farms will be the perfect destination.

The farm plans to open a 99-room hotel on its property this month.

Fairfield by Marriott features an 80-foot-tall contemporary barn design. An adjoining stone building designed like a milking parlor will house a pool, party and fitness center.

The hotel will connect directly to the 17,000-square-foot Farmhouse Restaurant.

“We are excited to open Fair Oaks Farms to overnight guests for the first time,” said Michael McCall, chief strategy officer of Fair Oaks Farms.

“Fair Oaks Farms is literally a one-of-a-kind hotel imbued with all the quality standards and service that is Marriott, and the contemporary country design innovation that is Fair Oaks Farms.”

The hotel will be decorated with commissioned ag-centric art.

Other amenities include an outdoor patio, complimentary hot breakfast, internet, and in-room mini fridge and microwave.

Later this year Fair Oaks will unveil a u-pick orchard, featuring eight variety of apples as well as berry gardens.
