JACKSONVILLE, Ill. — The fall series of the University of Illinois Extension’s Four Seasons Gardening Program gets underway with a live webinar titled “Fall Gardening” at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 17.
Gardening does not have to end when the calendar turns to fall. Join Ken Johnson, University of Illinois Extension horticulture educator, to learn about the crops that can be grown, as well as other garden and yard activities to do in the fall.
The webinar may be viewed at many Extension offices or from wherever you have internet access. Pre-register at go.illinois.edu/4seasons_webinars. Recorded videos of these sessions can be viewed following the program at go.illinois.edu/fourseasonsrecordings.
Other topics in the fall series include “Tree Compartmentalization” at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 8, and “Gardening for Birds” at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 3.
